On December 1st, we had a guest speaker for both the morning and evening sermons - Jefty Winburn, a former member of the Queen Way church of Christ who now lives and preaches near Atlanta, Georgia. In the evening lesson, Jefty again clarified a New Testament teaching by explaining it in its Old Testament context. What does it mean to be cleansed by Christ's blood? What does it mean to be spiritually clean before God? This is an excellent lesson on the importance of God's authority.
