As we shift our focus this month to "Politics & World Affairs," this sermon is the first in a series in which we'll consider the issue from a spiritual perspective. Specifically, what are our "civic duties" in the kingdom, or church, of Christ? In this first lesson, we'll focus on the issue of church attendance. Is it necessary to go to church? Is it wrong to miss a service? These hot-button issues will be addressed in this sermon.
