As much as some may chafe against it, we are ALL held accountable for our actions. While we have the right to make our own choices and live our own lives, Jesus Christ has ALL authority over our lives. It's a question of whether we acknowledge His authority, and submit humbly to His guidance. If and when we acknowledge that we're accountable to Christ, we must also understand that we're accountable to the church. Paul makes this comparison in Philippians 2, the base text for this study of accountability.
